What type of brushes and paints do I need to use for portraits?

You can pretty much use any synthetic brushes, flat #8, #6, #4, #2, #0

Also a mop and a 1” would come in handy as well as a script liner and a paint mixing knife.

Paints, I use hers as I’m still not sure how to mix from scratch. But that’s only for skin, for clothes, backgrounds you pretty much use whatever you want.
