This is the easiest brush I use to clean to clean.
Use soap & water.
I generally use liquid soap and thoroughly clean the brush after each usage. Dry on a clean rag or paper towel and the next day its ready to use again.
Do not clean with soap and water until you’re ready to call it quits for the day for that brush, as it does take a day for the hairs to thoroughly dry.
Should you “forget” to clean your brush and it dries out, there’s first aid available. I’ve generally had some pretty good results. Take “Murphy’s Oil” cleaning soap and thoroughly work it into the brush hairs. Work it as much as you can and then leave it soaking in warm water overnight. The next morning, I’ve found I’ve “reclaimed” the brush in most cases. Be careful, you don’t want to end up relying on this cleaning technique.
Darrell: Hi Margie, there always an exception to the rule….the blender brush is not made with natural hair. Its made with synthetics, so its easy to wash with soap and water, dry and re-use later. Natural hair brushes, we never use with water as water will destroy their shape. Most mops are also made with synthetic materials or goat hair. Goat hair will flair out, but then that’s the shape we want with mops.
