Art Classes By Darrell Crow have been on hold due to Covid-19 restrictions. We are pleased to announce that the state of Massachusetts is allowing Senior Centers to reopen in June 2021. We’re back in business and starting in September 2021. The new class dates are below.
Darrell Conducts Wednesday Evening Children’s Classes From 6 – 8 p.m.
Winter, Spring and Fall Session enrollments are for a 12-week period. I accept enrollment in these art classes for up to 4 students, ranging in age from 8-17. Enrollment is for the entire 12 week Session and not class-by-class. Students are taught the basic techniques of painting in a systematic approach that allows the student to retain what they’ve learned in a previous class and build upon that information with each successive lesson. After mastering the Basic Techniques of Painting, continuing students are taught how to compose paintings and how to put together paintings of their own design or from their own photographs. All supplies are included. Price is $25.00 a lesson due at either the beginning of the 12 week session ($300) or by week ($25).
Classes start promptly at 6 p.m. and ends promptly at 8 p.m., so parents please be on time.
Tuition fee is $25.00 per class. You can pay all at once or before each class. All supplies will be provided except for paint brushes, easels and paper towels. You must bring your own. We will provide paint, canvasses, etc. which are included in the Tuition Fee. Missed classes must also be paid for as well.
Most kids who attend our classes are there because they want to paint and to learn how to improve. So we’ve enjoyed all our students and have not had any discipline problems with teaching kids for the past 25 years.
But we do have two basic rules.
- When the instructor is talking, everyone else is to remain silent.
- A student MUST NEVER USE THEIR PAINTING EQUIPMENT IN A THREATENING MANNER TO ANOTHER STUDENT OR AS A WEAPON.
We do hope you’ll join with us and learn lots of new stuff. We will be adhering to the State of Massachusetts Covid-19 guidelines. (For more information click link below) https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/index.html
